9.53mm PC strand for Reinforcement projects

9.53mm low relaxation Prestressed Steel strand is a common material in the construction of prestressed concrete structures. It is made of high-quality high-carbon steel wire rods, cold-drawn, twisted and stress-relaxed stabilized. It is generally made of 7 high-strength steel wires, 1 in the center and 6 spirally wound around the periphery. The diameter of the steel strand is 9.53mm, the cross-sectional area is about 70.7mm², the tensile strength can reach 1860MPa, and the breaking load exceeds 130kN. In a 20℃ environment, under 70% nominal stress, the load is held for 1000 hours, and the relaxation rate is ≤2.5%, which can effectively reduce the loss of prestress in long-term use. It has good flexibility, which is convenient for on-site bundle threading and bending operations, and can also be enhanced through galvanizing, epoxy coating and other treatments to enhance corrosion resistance. The products are widely used in small and medium span bridges, high-rise building floors, rock and soil anchorage, water conservancy pools and other projects. They are usually packaged in coils (about 2-3.5 tons per coil), which is convenient for transportation and storage. It is a reliable choice for improving the bearing capacity and stability of structures.
